Can I walk in without an appointment?
Same-day or walk-in appointments may be available at Key West Concierge Orthopedics. Availability changes. Call ahead to confirm before going. Urgent care and walk-in clinics generally do not require appointments.
Should a sprain go to urgent care or orthopedics?
For sprains, orthopedic evaluation offers more focused bone and joint assessment, on-site X-ray, and musculoskeletal expertise. Urgent care handles minor sprains but focuses more on illness and general medical concerns. Key West Concierge Orthopedics is Key West Healthcare's recommended destination for orthopedic evaluation.
When should I go to the emergency room?
Go to the emergency room or call 911 for chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe breathing difficulty, major trauma, open fracture, uncontrolled bleeding, or loss of consciousness. When in doubt about severity, go to the emergency room.
For sprains, fractures, joint pain, back pain, and sports injuries, orthopedic specialist evaluation provides a more focused assessment than urgent care. Key West Concierge Orthopedics offers on-site X-ray, image-guided injections, and nonsurgical orthopedic care.
